CAD stands for Computer Assisted Design and it is the foundation of just about every object you see around you right now. The chair you are sitting on, the desk, the computer, the mouse, all of it was likely designed on a computer using CAD.

1derwork can do CAD in 2 ways, you can give us an existing object and we can create a 3D version of it on the computer or you can give us some general ideas about what you are looking for and we can design the item from scratch. The finished design can then be sent to a CAM (computer assisted machine) and produced or perhaps you simply need the 3D model of the item for explanation purposes, training or marketing. In any case, 3D CAD is a powerful method of getting your concepts to the real world.
